Arts

One of the smaller museums in Paris is the Musee Marmottan Monet; this is a gem of a website.  You’ll find here a wonderful collection of French painting and decorative arts, including a fine display of Monets together with many other impressionists and post impressionists. (David Henry) Explore Medieval Art with the Internet’s only portal to Medieval Museum Collections, Cathedral Tours Online, a Gothic Field Guide, medieval screensavers and other delights at New York Carver. Strange name, but a wonderful site.

Eyestorm is a place to discover, explore and acquire contemporary art and photography. This is a highly creative website design – an artwork in its own right.

What is the New York Times Best Seller List?  Is it those ten fiction and ten non-fiction book titles you see in the weekend local paper?   That’s only part of the story, so check out the Expanded Bestsellers Lists at the Times Books site where you’ll find 35 titles each in fiction and non-fiction, hardback and paperback, childrens’ books and advice books.  Plus the first chapters of several best seller titles – and an occasional extract read by the author in an audio recording.  Wonderful!

At  Love This Site, you can find many inspiring, amusing or stirring multimedia compositions such as Hugs, Rainbow, Dang Good Jokes – and others. (Joyce Olsson)
